I am really sorry for the delays. Please kindly refer to my comments:

1. From your video, I confirm that Oskon's reception in the signature mode is unsatisfactory and without recognizing the signature of the radar. For your reference, we are currently working on both HSP+ and ESP+ platforms. For your reference, "+" means a little better radar detection capability (i.e. radar sensitivity improved by about 3dB).

2. For all signature radar detectors from Street Storm, please do NOT open the case under any circumstance. If there is any problem with our signature radar detector, please kindly repair it in Service Center (or, contact Nikolay).

Please kindly understand that we had seven years of accumulated return analysis during the time, and our conclusion is that there were too many illegal hardware modifications by end-users. This was, in fact, unbelievably catastrophic beyond our control.

This led us to finally decide that we start to design all signature radar detectors to become malfunction in both radar and GPS, once the case is opened. Please kindly understand that we could not find any better solution.

Thank you for your valuable opinions. We are always in pursuit of attaining two (somehow) opposite goals at the same time: Increase Sensitivity vs. Decrease False Alarms.This is the nature of radar detector, for sure. At the same time, this is the very beauty of radar detector unlike others.

Our products are never in perfect shape now. We are continuously learning too. And, we will continue to make as perfect device as possible with time and efforts. Until that time, we will probably choose "detection" more than "filtering" (i.e. detection > filtering), whenever we have to make difficult choice of between detection and filtering.

Our philosophy is that detection of real gun must be the first priority. Again, we are not perfect at all, and our device could even miss the real gun under some circumstances. Nevertheless, we would not be in reckless pursuit of filtering.

Thank you for your question. For your reference, our production engineering team recently made extra measurements for the GPS Module Issue. Although it is temporary measurements, we think that it would be very worthwhile to monitor for some period of time. We will continue to check and to think about possible improvements, whenever necessary.

In general, if the symptom is not simple, the problematic unit must be sent to service center, because it is needless to say that radar detector is required for very high technology (i.e. manages up to 40GHz), which is another attractive point working in radar business.

You did not answer about the development of the platform (HSP+ & ESP+). Is it hardware or software? By indicating the sensitivity change in decibels, do you mean dB / mW, as is customary in the field of radar?

Without extending the warranty period from one year to minimum three years it is good solution for Street Storm, but not for customers...

What kind of repair make service in this case?
Open a case - insert module back - close case?
Then send to user and wait while this device return again?

Две недели, это ещё очень оптимистично, учитывая что по закону срок гарантийного ремонта до 45 суток. Плюс ещё, если владелец не из Москвы, время на пересылку РД до Москвы и обратно (и ещё плюс расходы на эту пересылку, если РД куплен в интернет-магазине) .

"Градусник" за время прошивки раза 4 заполнялся. Интересно, Птолемыча поправили или нет.

В v08 Обновление разнесли на два пункта:

1. Обновление PC/MAC
2. Обновление OTG

Обновление ч/з OTG идет также в 4 шага, но быстрее, чем на ПК.
Прогнал обновление два раза, прибор работает нормально.

Прокатился на 6 Кордонов с 8-ой прошивкой. Разница почти не видна, но если я не ошибаюсь в том, что они делают и куда двигаются (а похоже они молодцы!), то вангую: скоро должна появиться сигнатура в трассе. И похоже это будет огонь!

Может, конечно я и ошибаюсь, но хотелось бы надеяться на лучшее.
